KUCHING: Sarawak reported 581 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (June 24), taking the state's cumulative tally to 62,147.
The state Disaster Management Committee said Sibu had the most cases with 85, followed by Sri Aman (63) and Kuching (58).
Another 28 districts recorded between one and 49 new cases each.
For the first time since May 9, no new deaths were reported in the state.
The committee also said four new clusters were detected in Kuching, Tatau and Sibu.
It said the Jalan Setia Raja cluster was a workplace cluster involving a supermarket at Jalan Setia Raja in Kuching.
"A total of 30 people have been screened with 10 tested positive," it said in a statement.
Another cluster in Kuching, dubbed the Kilometer 23 Jalan Puncak Borneo cluster, involved the inmates of a narcotics rehabilitation facility.
Currently, it has 28 confirmed cases out of 122 people screened.
In Tatau, the Sungai Separai cluster was detected at a longhouse placed under the enhanced movement control order with 33 confirmed cases out of 89 screenings.
The Jalan Sungai Antu cluster is another workplace cluster, involving the workers of a cold storage company in Sibu.
To date, there were 24 confirmed cases out of 35 people screened.
The committee also said five clusters have ended, leaving 96 active clusters in the state.
