KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is allowing more sectors to operate while maintaining the movement control order, says Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
The Chief Minister said this was part of Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan in Sabah starting June 29.
He said some of the activities allowed to reopen with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) are dine-ins for restaurants and eateries, barber shops as well as roadside stalls for vegetables, fish and fruits.
Hajiji said non-contact sports like exercising, golf, fishing and cycling would also be allowed, along with manufacturing activities such as rubber, cement and paint, furniture and woodwork.
He said full details for the reopening of these sectors would be provided as soon as possible.
