GEORGE TOWN: Penang has yet to get an approval from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for the state assembly meeting before Aug 1.
Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the state exco will make a final decision on three options in its next meeting.
"Holding of a meeting before Aug 1, with the approval from the King, or an assembly meeting in August without the 28-day notice. The last option would be to have one in September with a 28-day notice, officially opened by the Yang di-Pertua Negri.
"As such, we will have to wait and make a decision if there are any latest developments," said Chow in a statement on Thursday (July 1).
