BATU PAHAT (Bernama): Police have arrested three foreign nationals to help with the investigation into a viral video of a fight at a factory workers’ hostel in Sri Gading here.

       Batu Pahat deputy police chief Supt Muhamad Izzudin Rungai said the three men, comprising two Bangladeshis and a Sri Lankan aged between 23 and 33 years, were arrested after police received a report on the video on Wednesday (July 7).

       A Sri Lankan man sustained head injuries in the incident and is now in stable condition at the Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital, Supt Muhamad Izzudin said in a statement on Thursday (July 8).

       He said a special committee had been set up to investigate the case under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons. – Bernama
