PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 7,097 more Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (July 7), says the Health Ministry.
This is the second day in a row that the country has recorded over 7,000 cases with Tuesday's (July 6) cases at 7,654.
Covid-19 infections remained high in the Klang Valley, with Selangor reporting 3,119 new cases, Kuala Lumpur with 1,005 and Putrajaya with 26.
The number of infections in other states are as follows: Negri Sembilan (788 cases), Melaka (358), Sarawak (289), Pahang (258), Sabah (244), Johor (224), Kedah (198), Perak (187), Penang (140), Kelantan (123), Labuan (93), Terengganu (43) and Perlis (two).
The country’s cumulative total of Covid-19 cases has now reached 799,790.
