PETALING JAYA: Traffic remains smooth on the major highways in the country on the morning of Hari Raya Haji on Tuesday (July 20).

       In contrast to the usual traffic during festivals, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said there was minimal traffic on highways.

       "Traffic is still quiet along the KL-Karak Highway and East Coast Expressway, including the location around the toll plazas at Gombak, Bentong, Karak and Kuala Terengganu, following low traffic flow.

       "In Klang Valley, traffic on all tolled highways is smooth and under control.

       "At the Tambak Johor (North-South Expressway) and Linked Kedua (Second Link), traffic to and fro Malaysia and Singapore is still smooth and under control," LLM said in several updates on Tuesday morning (July 20).
