KUALA LUMPUR: Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Bhd has announced that its long-serving chief executive officer Datuk Sri Mohamed Hassan Md Kamil is leaving the company at the end of of his contract on March 31, 2022.

       Takaful Malaysia said an executive search consulting firm will be appointed to assist with the succession planning exercise.

       Mohamed Hassan was appointed to the post in 2006.

       "The Board of Directors recognises his immense contribution to take Takaful Malaysia to where it is today, and respects his decision not to renew his contract when it expires in March 2022," the company said.

       "The Board wishes him well and a successful journey ahead," it added.
