PETALING JAYA: Apex Healthcare Bhd’s net profit for its second quarter ended June 30, 2021 is flat year-on-year at RM12.83mil from RM13.03mil a year ago.
Revenue for the latest quarter was, however, higher at RM182.56mil from RM174.73mil previously.
It declared an interim dividend of 2.5 sen per share for the financial year 2021.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its revenue rose on the improved demand from private sector clinics and hospitals, especially in June which saw revenue growth of 23% compared with the same month last year.
The quarter’s revenue was also boosted by non-recurring sales of pandemic-related products. Its profit was lower as it had seen a decline in contribution from its associate company.
