PETALING JAYA: Privasia Technology Bhd reported a 7.5% increase in revenue to RM10.9mil for the second quarter ended June 30, as compared to RM10.1mil a year ago.

       Its loss before tax and loss after tax for the quarter narrowed to RM0.4mil and RM0.2mil, respectively, from RM0.8mil and RM1.2mil previously.

       “We are optimistic of Privasia’s continuous growth in the months ahead. While our business has not been spared by the effects of Covid-19, we see a silver lining in that the pandemic has accelerated the pace for digitalisation.

       “This bodes well for Privasia and we expect the group to avail of new and exciting opportunities,” said chief executive officer and managing director Puvanesan Subenthiran in a statement.
