PETALING JAYA: Malaysia administered 415,875 Covid-19 vaccine doses on Sunday (Aug 15), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
In a series of tweets on its official Twitter account, JKJAV said that 143,671 people received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while another 272,204 completed both doses.
Johor administered the most first doses with 27,085, followed by Selangor (22,060), Sabah (19,624) and Terengganu (15,910).
In Selangor, 71,724 received their second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and completed their inoculations, followed by Kuala Lumpur (42,165), Johor (34,759) and Sabah (23,351).
According to JKJAV, Malaysia has administered a total of 27,810,855 Covid-19 vaccine doses since the start of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
It also reported that 72.9% of the country's adult population had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 45.9% of the adult population had received both doses and completed the inoculation process.
