KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has been picked as the ninth Prime Minister.

       The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, who met with his fellow Malay Rulers, is expected to make the announcement soon.

       It is understood that Ismail is expected to be sworn in as the PM by tomorrow.

       The process to appoint a new prime minister comes in the wake of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's resignation from the post on Monday (Aug 16).
