PETALING JAYA: Malaysia administered 483,855 doses of Covid-19 vaccines on Friday (Aug 20), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
In a series of tweets on Saturday (Aug 21), JKJAV said 155,030 people received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 328,825 individuals received their second dose.
JKJAV said that since the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme had begun, a total of 30,370,503 Covid-19 vaccine doses had been administered in the country.
It added that so far, 76.7% of the adult population had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 53.0% of the adult population had received both doses and were fully vaccinated.
