PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has called on Malaysians to come together as "Keluarga Malaysia" to support the 22 national athletes competing in the upcoming Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
He said that the 22 national athletes will be competing in nine types of sports involving a total of 32 events.
“All the best to all our national heroes and heroines,” added the MCA president in a Facebook post on Monday (Aug 23).
The 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games will start on Tuesday (Aug 24) and run until Sept 5.
In the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Malaysia made history by winning three gold, two silver and six bronze medals.
