PETALING JAYA: The term “Keluarga Malaysia” or Malaysian Family used by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in his maiden speech is very inclusive as it goes beyond religion, race and ethnicity, says MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
In a Facebook post yesterday, Dr Wee added that Ismail Sabri’s leadership would prioritise the youth’s voice.
“He called on all MPs, whether in government or not, to work together to restore the country,” wrote Dr Wee after the ninth Prime Minister delivered his maiden speech to the rakyat, during which he called on politicians from across the divide to unite to help the country preserve harmony.
Ismail Sabri also offered the Opposition the chance to be part of the National Recovery Council and the Special Committee on Covid-19.
