KUALA LUMPUR: A manhunt is underway for six suspects who attacked two men with weapons at Rumah Pangsa DBKL in Setapak.
Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah, in a statement today, said the Aug 22 incident at the flats was caught on camera from the carpark.
"Six individuals armed with padlocks, helmets and knives attacked two men at the scene. The case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code (rioting with a weapon).
"The police are still tracking down the suspects. Those with information are urged to contact investigation officer Insp Emlilia Jamil at 016-247 9017 or senior investigating officer Asst Supt Gopal Subramaniam at 012 512 0242," he said.
The one minute 22 seconds video showed a group of people attacking a victim, while dragging him on the floor. The victim and another person could be seen running away from the group after the attack.
The suspects are then seen entering their vehicles, before leaving the scene.
