PETALING JAYA: Celebrate a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival amid the pandemic by staying cautious and adhering to the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs), says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

       The Ayer Hitam MP called on the public to continue to do their best in keeping themselves and others safe during these trying times.

       “Even though the country is gradually recovering from the pandemic, we still need to always be cautious and adhere to all the SOPs.

       “Let us all continue to do our best in keeping ourselves and others safe for now, with the hope of finally meeting our friends and family in the coming year,” Dr Wee said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (Sept 21).

       The MCA president also extended warm wishes for the Mid-Autumn Festival to his friends and family while reminding that the celebration continues despite not having family reunions.

       “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all my friends and family. We may not be able to have any reunion yet but we can still celebrate this meaningful time by sending our best wishes to one another,” he added.
