SEREMBAN: Wellous Sdn Bhd has successfully launched its General Practitioner (GP) clinic here.
Klinik Wellous, located at Wisma Dewan Perhimpunan China Negeri Sembilan, Jalan Pusat Komersial Lobak 1, is a natural evolution of the company to serve more people nationwide.
This year marks the fifth year of the business and this initiative is a part of a business expansion project that exemplifies a major milestone in the local online healthcare industry.
The clinic’s grand opening was officiated by a group of VIPs, including Datuk Lee Tian Hock, Dr Lee Jian Hao, Dr Jennie Lui, Shawn Wong, Paul Tan, Justin Teow, and Wind Lee.
The launch aims to serve the community in Seremban with quality medical services as well as to embark on a physical footprint journey throughout Malaysia.
Wellous has been manoeuvring local online personalise functional food brand scene since 2017 and expanded its footprint internationally in 10 countries including Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand and Cambodia.
Wellous clinic operates 12-hours daily (except Sunday/public holidays) with an exceptional team of medical practitioners and offer walk-in patients with various type of treatments and facilities which include surgical dressing, medical diagnostics, dengue test, post-natal check-up, and excision of cyst.
The team of medical practitioners is led by Dr Jennie Lui (medical director of Wellous clinic), the managing director of Klinik Wellous, Seremban since June 2021.
Dr Lui graduated from Crimea State Medical University, Ukraine in 2010. She completed her compulsory service at Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah, Kuala Pilah for four years (2010-2014), was trained under different department (medical, surgical, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedic and anaesthesiology).
Then, Dr Lui had worked in a health screening centre for five years, from there got to pick up the ultrasound skills. She is able to do different parts of ultrasound scans (abdomen, pelvis- males and females, thyroid, carotids, breasts and scrotal), which can be beneficial as a diagnostic tool.
“We are very excited on this endeavour as this is the first physical clinic that we have established,” Dr Lui shared.
“We want to be able to attain patients from all walks of life, especially local communities here in Seremban.
“Throughout many years in online healthcare business, this is a natural progression of Wellous brand and it is aligned with our vision to help Malaysians to reach their optimum health.”
