Prince Charles is known to love eggs, so much so he has even shared his own egg recipe before on the Clarence House Instagram account.
Last year, Charles shared a recipe for Cheesy Baked Eggs on the final day of the #BritishCheeseWeekender, as Patron of the Speciality Cheesemakers Association since 1993.
The recipe from Clarence House features spinach, cherry or sundried tomatoes, basil and double cream, with of course an egg and both hard and soft cheese.
Royal servant Charles Oliver shared the Queen's breakfast preferences in his book ‘Dinner at Buckingham Palace'.
An extract revealed the Queen has liked kippers since she was a teenager, during the war years.
The anecdote read: "Kippers, in a number of uncomplicated variations, have remained a favourite with the Queen ever since – for breakfast, as a savoury or a late-night supper. The Queen is also fond of smoked haddock as a breakfast dish."

Then for lunch, Zara told the Sunday Times Magazine a few years ago: “Lunch is quick and simple, like soup and a sandwich, or eggs and toast.”
Like her husband, Camilla is also thought to be partial to eggs for breakfast.
Charles famously keeps chickens at his home of Highgrove House, which has been nicknamed 'Cluckingham Palace'.
So it is unsurprising that Camilla's son, Tom Parker-Bowles, reportedly said the Duchess is a big fan of scrambled eggs.
