SATURDAY night’s National Lottery Lotto winning numbers have now been revealed, as the Set For Life draw could see one lucky Brit win ￡10,000 a month for 30 years.
The winning numbers last night (9 September) were: 06, 09, 30, 48, 51, 52 and the Bonus Ball was 55.
The National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers were: 05, 09, 11, 36, 38 and the Thunderball was 12.
The Set For Life draw is on Monday. You could win ￡10,000 a month for 30 years.
You can buy Set For Life tickets every day from 6am until 11pm. But, to play on a draw day, you'll need to buy your ticket before 7.30pm.

How did John Roberts lose his money?
John Roberts, from Edinburgh, won a massive ￡3.1million back in 1998.
But just three years later the security guard was penniless after blowing his money on cars, houses and luxury holidays.
One of his first big buys was a massive Tudor mansion in Blackpool, which he moved his wife, Linda, and five children into.

When is the next draw?
The next game to play in will be the Set For Life draw on Monday evening.
Taking place at 8pm, it will see Brits play for the chance to win ￡10k a month for the next 30 years.

Euromillions winner Adrian Bayford is “consumed with guilt” as his son fights for life after a horror quad bike smash, friends say.
The lad, 13, was hit by a car driven by his sister, 15, in the sprawling grounds of their Cambridgeshire mansion.
The Sun exclusively revealed details of the horror smash as the boy is fighting for his life in intensive care with his family at his bedside.

Explained: What is the Set For Life draw?
The Set For Life draw runs on Mondays and Thursdays and one lucky Brit could win ￡10,000 every month for the next 30 years.
Players have to pick five numbers from 1-47 plus one Life Ball number from 1-10 or go with a Lucky Dip to get a randomly generated number.
You can buy Set For Life tickets online every day from 6am until 11pm. But remember, to play on a draw day, you’ll need to buy your ticket before 7.30pm.
The winning numbers go out at 8pm and can be found on the National Lottery website or their YouTube channel.

For the Euromillions, the most popular number is 50, followed by 44, 19, 4 and 30.

From mansion to homeless
Ex-jailbird Lee Ryan scooped the ￡6.5million jackpot just 17 weeks after the lottery was launched on November 14 1994. He made headlines when it emerged he was accused of handling stolen cars and was imprisoned for 18 months after his huge payout.
Lee then spent a decade living the high life and splashed his car on luxury cars, a helicopter and a ￡2million mansion.

How does the National Lottery work?
The National Lottery raises money to go to many ‘good causes’ and have helped give out numerous grants to those that need it most.
On their website they state: “We retain around just 1% of revenue in profit, while around 95% of total revenue goes back to winners and society. More so, we run one of the most cost-efficient major lotteries in Europe, with around 4% of total revenue spent on operating costs.

‘I sill shop in Primark despite winning ￡1.8m’
A NATIONAL Lottery winning dinner lady still lives in her council house, shops in Primark and drives a Kia despite bagging ￡1.8million.
Trish Emson, 51, explained money or her millionaire status did not change her or her partner Graham Norton, also 51, who still works as a decorator.
The down-to-earth pair have even managed to keep their teenage son Benjamin, 17, in check – and don’t even give him pocket money.
The modest mum, from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, said: “Being rich doesn’t make you posh or a better person.
“I don’t like showing off and bragging about money and I can’t be posh anyway.
“To look at me you wouldn’t think I was a millionaire, but if I have to dress up I feel fake, I prefer my jeans,” she told The Mirror.

Biggest jackpot in the history of EuroMillions
The biggest ever jackpot to be won is €190million, which has been won by four different people – including two from Great Britain.
Adrian and Gillian Bayford scooped the €190m (￡148.7m) jackpot on August 10, 2012.
Adrian, 41 and 40-year-old Gillian from Haverhill in Suffolk became instant multi-millionaires, but their winnings was only the second highest in Britain thanks to the conversion rate.

A lot of people doing the EuroMillions pick a lucky dip to get their numbers.
Lottoland advises that people should avoid popular numbers, like 1-31, as people tend to opt for their birth date.
This means if these numbers come up more people will have them and the winning amount will be divided between more people.
They also suggest avoidance of a sequence of numbers.

Unluckiest winner of all time
That was the case for one young couple this week who missed out on the ￡182million Euromillions jackpot – when they realised their winning ticket payment hadn’t gone through.
Rachel Kennedy, 19, and Liam McCrohan, 21, from Hertfordshire were “absolutely heartbroken” when they realised their usual numbers had come up, but they had won nothing.
The couple, both students, had played the winning numbers of 6, 12, 22, 29, 33, 6 and 11 for five weeks in a row before all seven digits appeared in Friday’s draw.
Rachel’s account was set up to automatically buy a Euromillions ticket with her usual numbers but because her account did not have the right funds, the ticket payment did not go through.
“I called the number thinking that I had won ￡182million and they said ‘yeah you’ve got the right numbers but you didn’t have the funds in your account for the payment of the ticket so it didn’t actually go through’,” Rachel said.

Gran escapes jail
A gran stole ￡33,000 worth of Lotto scratchcards from a corner shop while working behind the till, a court heard.
Trusted shop assistant Sheila Hancock, 60, took thousands of cards from the display without paying for them.
And if she saw it was a winning card after scratching off the silver foil she took the prize money out of the till, it was said.
Puzzled owner Virajkumar Patel couldn’t understand why his busy store wasn’t making a profit despite staying open throughout the pandemic.
So he checked CCTV and was horrified when he saw Hancock repeatedly helping herself to cards and winnings. York crown court heard she had become addicted to the “easy” gambling and got away with the deceit from January 2020 until April of this year.
