PETALING JAYA: As interstate travel has been allowed after many months, MCA paid tribute to the frontliners who have toiled tirelessly for the sake of the people and the nation.
“Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without their sacrifices,” said MCA spokesperson Mike Chong.
He said that regardless of their role in administering vaccines, treating patients, manning roadblocks, delivering meals or keeping our premises clean, the contribution of frontliners will surely become an invaluable asset to the Malaysian Family.
“Their services have always been honourable, yet even more so, the determination to persevere and serve amidst the pandemic deserves nothing less than a million thanks and appreciation from everyone,” said Chong in a statement.
In welcoming the relaxation, Chong also reminded the “Malaysian Family” not to let their guard down over the relaxation of standard operating procedures (SOP).
He said that Malaysia must continue to remain alert and be cautious of their personal health and hygiene even though the inoculation rate of the adult population in Malaysia reached 90.02% on Oct 10.
