She was horrified to discover he had asked 'wanna hook up' alongside his phone number and the name 'Scott'.

The weirdo then tried to follow her onto the bus as she made a desperate bid to get away.

The 21-year-old's ordeal began as she shopped with the two children in Fife, Scotland, on Monday.

She was approached by the man, believed to be in his 40s, who asked her where she was from and whether she lived alone.

And he even picked up Chanice's little nephew during the unsettling incident.

The mum, who has reported the man to police, has now warned other women to take care.

She told the Daily Record: “I was looking after my nephew while I waited for his mum to come get him at the bus station.

“We had gone through some of the shops while we were waiting. As we were walking through the first one, he was following.

“He was just acting really strange and every aisle I went down, even when I repeated aisles, he kept following us.

“My nephew is only one and was walking along when this guy came and picked him up.

"I thought maybe he had fallen and I hadn’t realised so I then picked him up.

“When I was paying, he was behind me before going to one of the other cashiers. Then he sat on a bench outside the shop, like he was waiting for us to come out."

'HE PUT HIS HAND ON MY BUM'

Chanice and the little ones walked to the other end of town - but the mum then realised the man was still following her.

He approached her at the bus stop.

“As I was standing there, he came out and started asking me questions like where do I live, do I live alone," she said.

“He was just being really creepy and I didn’t want to answer him but he was so in my face and being really intimidating.

“I was holding my daughter and nephew, so my hands were full, but then put his hand on my bum and slipped something into my back pocket.

“I turned round and said ‘What the f*** are you doing?’ He said to just have a look and see and that his name was Scotty.

“He walked away back into the bus station and stood at the bus station window - just looking out, watching me. At this point I started panicking."

After her nephew was picked up, the man returned and began "circling" Chanice and her daughter as they stood alone.

In a bid to escape, she decided to board the next bus that pulled up.

And she says the man raced towards the same service in a bid to get onboard too - before the doors closed on him.

“It was a really horrible experience," Chanice said.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating a report of a man acting suspiciously in Glenrothes town centre on Monday, 11 October, 2021.

"Enquiries are at an early stage."
