A WOMAN has died and two others were left seriously injured after a man in his 70s crashed into three pedestrians outside a pub in Manchester today.
Police and paramedics were scrambled to the scene outside the Haddon Hall pub in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, just after midday.

Officers believe the elderly driver lost control of his car before crashing into three women.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, one of the women was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers were called at around 12.15pm today to Haddon Hall Road where it is believed that a man in his 70s lost control of his vehicle and collided with three pedestrians.
"Emergency services attended but despite the best efforts of paramedics a woman - the pedestrian - was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"Two further female pedestrians have been taken to hospital with serious injuries."

The force said the driver stayed with them at the scene to help with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
Pictures from the scene show a police cordon in place outside the Haddon Hall pub while a white forensic tent has been erected in the car park.
A number of roads remain closed with a large amount of emergency services at the scene.
An air ambulance is believed to have landed earlier.
