LAHORE: The Punjab In--dustrial Estates Deve-lop-ment and Management Com--pany (PIEDMC) has appro-ved release of Rs55 million to the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company for the construction of 132KV grid station in Bhalwal Ind-ustrial Zone and Rs9.6m to Lahore Electric Supply Com-pany for feeder connection in Chunian Aqua Business Park.
On the recommendations of committee, the PIEDMC in its Board Of Directors meeting also ap--proved Rs5.4m for consultancy services for disposal stations in Vehari and Rahim Yar Khan industrial zones, Rs30m for transaction advisory of Mu--za-ffar-garh In--d-u-s--trial Zone and renewal of contracts of transport servi-ce and medical insurance for staff.
The meeting presided over by the chairman Syed Nabil Hashmi was earlier told that the company earned Rs 12 billion from QABP, Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari and Bhal-wal Industrial Zones, started development works on the Quaid-i-Azam Busi-ness park, Bahawalpur Industrial Zone and transformed Chunian In--dustrial Zone into Aqua Bu--s-iness Park, work on net met-e-ring and expansion project also started in Sundar Ind-u-s-trial Estate.
