The incident took place between J35 and J36 for Sarn, Bridgend.

Drivers have been advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
A tweet from South Wales Police reads: "#ROADCLOSURE | We are at the scene of a road traffic collision between a car and a motorcycle on the M4 between J35 and J36, Bridgend.
"The road is currently closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible."

Traffic Wales have said they are dealing with "heavy" congestion following the incident.
The road had been closed to allow an air ambulance to land in the area.

A statement from South Wales Police says: "South Wales Police was called at around 7.05am this morning, October 26 to a road traffic collision on the M4 between Junction 35 and 36, Bridgend.
"The collision involved a car and a motorcycle.
"The road remains closed and motorists are advised to find alternative routes."
