A series of Parkingeye cameras in Coalville, Leicestershire, have been dishing out £100 penalties to people who use a common cut-through to access other parts of the town.

But the cameras - which span across the Belvoir Retail and Leisure Quarter - have been blasted by drivers who say they never stopped to park.
Sammy Aglago was accused of using the carpark for more than 21 hours - a claim he dubbed "ridiculous".
He cuts through along the road when heading to his nearby home and has been doing so for 12 years.
He told LeicestershireLive: "The road is not private, there is nothing to say I cannot use it to get to my home. So why fine me?
"I have never parked on the car park. It’s ridiculous to even think that."
He said the letter left him feeling "scared" and under pressure to pay it up quickly to avoid fees.

He said: "I knew I had done nothing wrong, but the fear sets in."
There are no notices warning passing drivers that the area is private.
Following an appeal, Sammy's fine has been dropped by the parking firm.
A Parkingeye spokesperson said: "Parkingeye operates a BPA (British Parking Association) audited appeals process, which motorists can use to appeal their Parking Charge Notice.
"If anyone has mitigating circumstances, we would encourage them to highlight this by appealing.
"All motorists are also entitled to a further appeal via POPLA, the independent body which reviews all cases."
