KLANG: Given the high number of people presently unemployed, RM4.8bil has been allocated to create 600,000 employment opportunities.

       These positions will be made available through the job guarantee concept.

       Aptly named Jamin Kerja Keluarga Malaysia (JaminKerja), it will ensure jobs for Malaysians including the almost 750,000 people estimated to be jobless at present.

       The government will also, through the Social Security Organisation, utilise JaminKerja to hire some 300,000 people.
