KUALA LUMPUR: Police here raided a private party at Bukit Damansara and arrested a man and woman after they tested positive for drugs.

       Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said police from the Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) raided a bungalow there following a tip-off at around 10pm on Saturday (Oct 30).

       "We found 32 individuals there as well as a foreign man who works as the caretaker there.

       "Our checks revealed the group were there to celebrate a birthday party," he said in a statement on Sunday (Oct 31).

       He said urine tests were conducted and a man and woman tested positive for drugs.

       "We arrested the two and issued compound notices to everyone there for violating the standard operating procedure set by the National Security Council (NSC).

       "We thank the public for tipping us off on this private party," he said.
