The incident took place on St Vincent Street in Glasgow city centre. A large police presence had arrived at the scene to stop the chaos.

       A tweet from Radio Clyde News says: "Police are now removing protestors from St Vincent Street in Glasgow.

       "Two activists have locked on to a device outside Santander and the Protest Removal Team have moved in.

       Radio Clyde News tweeted an update about the incident which had occurred in Glasgow

       They tweeted: "UPDATE: A large police presence on St Vincent Street as officers try to remove two protestors who have 'locked on to a device'"

       An update has since been given by police.

       Radio Clyde News tweeted: "UPDATE: Police say the protesters have been removed and the road is now clear.

       "Three people have been arrested."

       Almost 100,000 protestors marched upon Glasgow on Saturday, according to organisers.

       Although Greta Thunberg was in attendance on the walk, the famous activist did not speak to her fellow protestors.

       Ugandan activist Vanessa Nakate later spoke to protestors on the day.

       They said: "The climate and ecological crises are already here.

       "But so are citizens from around the globe.

       “Leaders rarely have the courage to lead.

       “It takes citizens, people like you and me, to rise up and demand action.
