KUALA LUMPUR: EP Manufacturing Bhd (EPMB) is signing an MoU with Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute on Wednesday to collaborate and venture into a super delivery ecosystem and electric vehicles.

       It said this in a reply to a query by Bursa Malaysia Securities over the unusual market activity (UMA) which resulted in the recent sharp rise in price and trading volume of its shares.

       EPMB said apart from the MoU, the board is not aware of any other corporate developments relating to the group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity including in the stage of negotiation/discussion.

       Bursa Securities had on Tuesday queried the company over the UMAin relation to the recent sharp rise in price and trading volume of its shares.

       EPMB said apart for the disclosure about the MoU, “the board is not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the group that may account for the unusual market activity”.
