A GRINNING Lottery winner has revealed the BRILLIANT message he plans to tell his boss after scooping a massive ￡150,000 jackpot.

       Nigel took out the whopping prize playing People's Postcode Lottery after he and nine others from Blackburn were picked as a lucky winners last Christmas.

       Asked how he was planning on spending the funds, Nigel revealed he'd be ditching his job.

       He said: "I'm going to go into work on Monday and tell them 'I'm leaving'.

       Nigel explains there's no hard feelings, but the windfall gives him an opportunity to slow down.

       He and his wife were hoping to use the cash to have some fun.

       Nigel said: "I've worked in the same place for over 10 years and they're a great company but I'm ready for retirement!

       "My wife Catherine and I will need to sit down and have a good chat. She's always dreamed of a trip on the Orient Express, so we might actually do that."

       Elsie, another winner, revealed she had recently lost her husband, but the winnings gave her a chance to find some happiness again.

       She said: "I know my husband James is looking down on me. I'll definitely be treating my daughters and granddaughters."

       A total of 1,691 players in the Blackburn postcode BB2 4FW in Lancashire who won a share of the ￡3million.

       Hauls ranged from ￡776 to ￡4,656 depending on how many ￡10 tickets a player had purchased.

       People's Postcode Lottery presenter Judie McCourt was out and about handing out cheques to the winners.

       She said: "Congratulations to all of our winners in Blackburn. It was so lovely to meet some of them today and it sounds like there are some exciting plans coming up."
