SCANDAL-hit Taiwanese superstar Show Lo (pic) will be making a big comeback next year after agreeing to perform at the Taipei Arena, reported Sin Chew Daily.
Lo, who lost his job at the variety show 100% Entertainment last year after he cheated on his girlfriend, was invited back to perform during its OWO Werewolf segment, a competition modelled after the popular party game Mafia.
According to TV Channel GTV Variety Show, they invited Lo as a guest to perform during the competition finals on Jan 28, 2022.
Lo, 42, who was a former host of 100% Entertainment, immediately agreed to it.
Many fans see this as an attempt to pave the way for Lo to make a comeback in the entertainment scene.
On April 23 last year, Lo’s former girlfriend Grace Chow, a Chinese Internet celebrity in her own right, crafted an explosive social media post accusing him of sleeping with female artistes under his wing.
Chow revealed that Lo would invite women to his hotel room whenever he went on work trips and had brought women to their house whenever she was not around. Lo made several public apologies for his behaviour and also made fumbling attempts to win her back, to no avail.
The scandal was reported to have cost him nearly T$600mil (RM87mil) in axed endorsement deals. In an attempt to return to the entertainment scene, Lo started a YouTube Channel in May this year but it received a lukewarm response.
