BUTTERWORTH: A woman in her 60’s died after a fire broke out at her house here in Taman Binjai here on Jalan Sri Rambai, Bukit Mertajam on Wednesday (Nov 17).

       Bandar Perda Fire and Rescue Department operations officer Nik Sukri Nik Saad said they received a call on the incident at 12.13am.

       "Firemen arrived at the scene to find that the house, measuring 30 by 40 sq ft, was completely engulfed in flames.

       "The woman who died in the fire lived alone," he added.
