PETALING JAYA: A unit of Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd has bagged a RM33.89mil contract to construct and complete a mosque at the Merdeka 118 project in Kuala Lumpur.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said its subsidiary Nadi Cergas Sdn Bhd (NCSB) has accepted the letter of award (LoA) from PNB Merdeka Ventures. The LoA is subject to a formal contract to be entered into between NCSB and PNB Merdeka Ventures in due course.

       The contract is for a duration of 18 months from the date of commencement on Dec 1, 2021 and is expected to be completed on May 31, 2023.

       The project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets per share from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022 onwards until the completion of the contract.
