       Mr Farage has revealed he is considering a return to the frontline of British politics following his spearheading of the EU independence campaign in the run-up to the vote in 2016 and then leading the Brexit Party until nine months ago.

       Overnight it was announced Mr Farage was "mulling a comeback" with the arch Brexiteer being quoted as saying "I will have to give it some serious thought". The news will spark huge fears within the Conservative Party, which is already coming under pressure from the latest opinion polls.
