MELAKA:Melaka Perikatan Nasional and Parti Pribumi Bersatu (Bersatu) chief Datuk Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen (pic) has resigned from his state party post with immediate effect
He said in a statement on Friday (Nov 26) that he is also resigning as the Melaka Perikatan Nasional chief.
The Bersatu vice-president said that he wants to focus on his responsibilities to his party for the next general election
Mohd Rafiq – the former Paya Rumput assemblyman - lost to Barisan Nasional's Datuk Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman in a four-cornered battle during the Melaka election on Nov 20.
