Boris Johnson has given the UK new rules and regulations to abide by over the next three weeks due to the discovery of a new Covid variant Omnicron. There have been over eleven reported cases of the new strain in the UK, scientists have advised on what to do next. TalkRADIO presenters James Whale and Mike Graham butted heads on yesterday's show as they have a difference of opinion on the new Covid regulations ushered in by the UK Government.
James Whale began discussing the science on the newfound variant and how he and his wife plan to take precautions against catching it.
Mr Whale said: "With the new variant until they know how likely it is to spread, how contagious it is Lady W and I have decided that we will in crowded places that haven't been properly checked, we will."
Before Mr Whale could finish his sentence Mr Graham chimed in to ask: "You're not going to wear one in the house are you?"
Mr Whale responded to Graham's mocking comment with: "Of course I'm not going to wear one in the house I'm not going to wear one walking down the street, well unless I was walking along Oxford Street during Christmas shopping I might add."

"What you're doing is protecting other people from the germs that you may have and you don't know because you don't take the test regularly whether you have got it or not." Whale explained
Graham snapped back at Mr Whale: "What I do James has got nothing to do with you, I don't tell you what to do you shouldn't be telling me what to do."
Mr Whale responded to Mr Graham's comment on his medical freedom by saying, "In a country that is free people who say what you said and bearing in mind, I love you dearly, it's the most ridiculously stupid moronic thing I have ever heard."
"Because no freedoms exist withoutall taking other people into consideration."

Mocking Mr Graham's comment about privacy and freedom Mr Whale stated: "If I hear any more of this rubbish about well I'm going to do just what I want to do because it's a free country."
Mr Graham then asked the riled-up host, "Well why don't you take me into consideration."
Mr Whale responded: "I'm taking you into consideration by wearing a mask and I feel that you should take me into consideration by doing the same, now that's all I've got to say.
"But if you're not wearing one I'm still going to visit you in the hospital because I do love you dearly."
The Prime Minister announced the new mandatory safety regulations for UK citizens to follow on Sunday.
Mr Johnson said: "The measures taking effect today are proportionate and responsible and will buy us time in the face of this new variant.
“Based on everything we know, our vaccines and boosters remain our best line of defence, so it is more important than ever that people come forward when eligible to get boosted.
“Not only will today’s steps help us slow down the variant’s spread, but they will help us protect each other and the gains we have all worked so hard for.”
Mr Johnson is set to hold a Downing Street press conference later today at 4pm to discuss the Omicron variant.
