A woman was shot in the District’s Deanwood neighborhood Sunday afternoon, D.C. police said.

       D.C. police were called at about 2 p.m. for a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Eastern Avenue NE, according to police officer Hugh Carew. The victim was reported to be unconscious and not breathing, Carew said. Additional details about her age and identity were not immediately available.

       Police were still investigating the incident at about 3 p.m. Authorities posted a lookout for three juveniles driving a gold-colored SUV traveling west on Eastern Avenue.
