KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak candidate for the Stakan seat Datuk Hamzah Brahim is ready to submit his nomination papers.
He arrived at the Tun Abdul Razak Teachers’ Institute in Kota Samarahan at about 8.40am.
He is expected to be challenged by both DAP and Parti Sarawak Bersatu for the seat.
Meanwhile, GPS' Tanjong Datu candidate Azizul Annuar Adenan has arrived at the Lundu community hall, ready to submit his nomination papers.
He was seen doing his RTK swab for Covid-19 as soon as he arrived.
The 30-year-old is the son of former chief minister the late Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
Meanwhile, five election hopefuls for the Pujut state seat have arrived at the nomination centre at Miri City Council.
They are Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s Adam Yii, Alan Ling of DAP and Leslie Ting of Parti Bumi Kenyalang.
The two other candidates are Erick Chin of Sarawak People’s Aspiration Party (Aspirasi) and Parti Sarawak Bersatu’s Bruce Chai.
