KUCHING: Several hopeful candidates have arrived at the Kuching South City Hall nomination centre ahead of the Sarawak state polls.
The first to arrive is SUPP candidate Milton Foo who came to the centre at 8:06am.
Foo is seeking to contest the Pending seat and is expected to take on DAP’s Violet Yong, who has been the Pending assemblymen for three terms since 2006.
She last won Pending against Foo in 2016 with a 5,012-vote majority.
The next to arrive was PKR Sarawak election director Dominique Ng, who arrived at the Kuching South City Hall nomination centre at 8.10am.
He is the father of Cherishe Ng, a 24-year-old who’s expected to take on PSB’s See Chee How in Batu Lintang.
