ALTHOUGH she has never dyed her hair in her life, actress Fasha Sandha had to give in when asked to do so by the Khilaf Asmara drama production team, Utusan Malaysia reported.

Fasha said she felt uncomfortable dyeing her hair light blonde and that when she saw her transformed image, she felt embarrassed.

“Frankly, I’m not comfortable. But since it’s for my character – Hanim – I did it anyway.

“This was also a request from the director who wanted me to cut and dye my hair to make the character more unique. He wanted me to look completely different.

“Despite a heavy heart, I still did it. But I don’t mind cutting my hair short,” said the Anak Mami Kembali actress.

However, Fasha, 37, said her husband, actor Aidil Aziz, did not object.

“Of course I talked to him before doing it. He is the type to understand that I did it for my job,” she said.

       > Anyone who succeeds in bidding for some 40 assets belonging to cosmetics entrepreneur Muhammad Sajjad Kamaruz Zaman, or Nur Sajat, will be “locked up” in the house until the payment and contract signing is completed, reported Kosmo!

This condition was made after an incident on Tuesday when a man who made a top bid of RM132,000 for all the items went missing on the pretext of going to the bank for a banker’s draft.

Lawyer Zeti Zulkifli of NHA Advocates & Solicitors, representing Nur Sajat’s former largest stockist, OWA Resources Sdn Bhd, said the stipulation was to prevent the next successful bidder from disappearing.

According to Zeti, bidders must also bring cash to pay for around 40 pieces of furniture and household appliances belonging to the controversial entrepreneur, who is now in Australia after being granted asylum there.

The public auction came after the Shah Alam High Court ordered the seized assets to be auctioned off to recover RM200,000 in damages that Nur Sajat had failed to pay to OWA Resources.

       > A man in Setiu, Terengganu, died after he was buried while mining for gold, reported Sinar Harian.

In the incident at about 5pm on Wednesday, Mohd Johari Mohd Asri, 34, died at the scene.

The victim and his father were mining in the area when the soil suddenly collapsed and buried the victim.

Setiu OCPD Deputy Supt Afandi Hussin said initial investigations showed that a landslide had occurred while the victim was mining.
