Video footage of the scene published by YappApp showed a large cordon of police cars was called on Westgate in the city centre of Wakefield, Yorkshire. The West Yorkshire Police was called by ambulance staff to reports of a man being stabbed outside Cosa Nostra on Westgate just before 2.30pm today.
Authorities have not confirmed the victim's identity nor whether they arrested his attacker, but reports suggest the victim was the owner of the Cosa Nostra bar.
The business owner was taken to hospital by paramedics to treat his injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
The crime scene was closed to the public by officers as they started their investigation.
Cosa Nostra is a Sicilian-inspired cocktail bar and lounge.
