PETALING JAYA: As the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and related agencies go all out in rescue and relief efforts, there are several steps the public can take to safeguard their wellbeing and that of their loved ones during the flood season.

       Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein shared a care guide and several tips in a recent post on his social media accounts.

       Among the Senior Minister's reminders were to avoid flood areas, relocate immediately to evacuation centres when told as well as to maintain physical distancing especially at said locations, and to always wear a face mask.

       "Please share this infographic with family members, friends, neighbours and as many people as you know for our safety, together. Stay safe!" he shared.
