The infant, 2, was found with grazes and bruises on her face as well as bugs on her skin in Thailand. While villagers collected rubber from trees, the baby was spotted in Krabi province on Sunday. Upon finding her, the 2-year-old was found with no clothes on, on top of dense green banana leaf plants.
As the baby was lifted up from the ground by the villagers, she let out a cry as she opened up her eyes.
Both the police and an ambulance were called after finding the child.
After being wrapped in a blue cotton blanket, the girl was placed on a stretcher in an ambulance.
During this time, she was treated for dehydration.
It is not expected that the baby will have any lasting health conditions from the ordeal.
In the area where she was found, animals such as cobras and pythons are both known to prowl this place.
The child has since been taken to Khao Phanom hospital where her health will be monitored.

As soon as the 2-year-old makes a full recovery, she will be taken to Krabi provincial administration.
Police Colonel Prasit Yodthong said: “The newborn girl had worms and insects crawling over her body.
“The nearest hospital records showed that no women had given birth there.

“It is likely that the mother gave birth elsewhere and abandoned the child in the middle of the hill.
“We are currently tracking down the newborn’s mother.
“She will be prosecuted.
“The baby could have died and we think that whoever left the girl knew this.
“We think that the baby had been left outside for at least two days.
“She was there for a whole night but survived.
“Officers are interviewing people from nearby villagers to try and find anyone who was pregnant recently.”
