About 8:15 p.m. Monday, county police were called about a suspicious situation in the 6800 block of Wisconsin Avenue near Bradley Boulevard. They found “an adult male in a stairwell with trauma to his body,” police said in a statement.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity will be released after family members are notified, officials said. Police called the case “an active and ongoing homicide investigation.” No further details were released.
