A man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in the Langley Park neighborhood, Prince George’s County police said.

       According to an initial investigation, officers responded to the 7900 block of 14th Avenue about 3:30 p.m. and found a man in an apartment with gunshot wounds, police said.

       He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name was not immediately released.

       Detectives are at the scene trying to determine a motive and identify a suspect or suspects, police said.
