KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested three men for allegedly beating a man to death on Jalan Ampang, here.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Saiful Anuar Yusoff, in a statement on Friday (Dec 31) said that the victim was found bloodied on Dec 29 at around 1.03am.
"The police received word of an unconscious man found with a bleeding head in Jalan Ampang but when checks were conducted the victim has passed away.
"Witnesses saw the victim beaten by three men the day before at around 6pm.
"Two men, aged 28 and 32 years old were caught the same day. Questioning on the two suspects led to the arrest of the main culprit, aged 30, on Dec 30," he said adding the motive was still under investigation.
The first two suspects had been remanded until Jan 5 whereas the third would be remanded on Friday.
The case was being investigated for murder, under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
