       KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2: A recent statistic, a copy of which has been obtained by Al-Anba daily, reveals 2,014 male and female citizens retired from their jobs during the first 6 months of last year, reports Al-Anba daily.

       The number of new pension cases for civilians working for an employer in the governmental, civil and oil sectors during the period from January 1 to June 30, 2021 reached about 2,014, more than 58% of them retired during the first 3 months of the year, 1,177 people and 837 others in the following 3 months, and the government sector accounted for the highest percentage of retirees with 72.5% of the total new pension cases during the first 6 months of the year, with 1,461 male and female citizens, of whom 863 retired during the first 3 months of the year, with 337 male and female citizens, and from the oil sector 216 people.
