The civil aviation ministry aims to make India a global hub for air sports by proposing tax incentives and dedicated airspace for aerobatics, hand gliding, sky diving and paragliding, said a policy paper. “The government of India plans to promote the country's air sports sector by way of making it safe, affordable, accessible, enjoyable and sustainable,” said joint secretary Amber Dubey in the draft policy released on Saturday.
