> Kosmo! reported that a 38-year-old man in Indonesia attacked his wife and her lover with a cleaver after he allegedly “caught” them having an affair.
The incident, which was narrated via a video on the Instagram account @andreli_48, is said to have happened in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.
The man, Antok Pamuji, is a cloth trader in West Kutai but would occasionally return to his house in Bandar Tenggarong.
He suspected that his 33-year-old wife was cheating on him because she was always on her phone and refused to show it to him when asked.
He then pretended to go to work before doubling back to his house through the back door and hiding in the ceiling.
After two hours of waiting, Antok was shocked to find a man known as K entering the house and having intimate relations with his wife.
“He then went downstairs and broke the bedroom door with a meat cleaver,” said a district police chief.
Antok slashed K who ran away naked and covered in blood due to injuries to his waist and left hand.
The condition of his wife, who was stabbed, is still unknown. It is learnt that Antok later surrendered himself to the police.
