PETALING JAYA: Cancer patient Wong E Yong, 65, had to undergo heart surgery last month and will have to recuperate before undergoing radiotherapy for his cancer.

       Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong took the opportunity to visit Wong, who is still recuperating at his house in Taman Kota Indah, Yong Peng, on Thursday (Jan 6).

       "Wong is a neighbour of mine, as his shop is next to my service centre in Templer Road, Yong Peng," the MCA president said in a Facebook post Thursday (Jan 6).

       The Transport Minister said he offered words of encouragement to Wong, who would undergo radiotherapy for his cancer as soon as his heart condition improves.

       "I pray for Wong's speedy recovery," Dr Wee said.
